Day 4 In Japan

Day 4 In Japan

The day began with nice sunny weather, so we headed to Meiji Jingu, a famous shine near Shinjuku and Shibuya.

Remember to bow once when entering and once when leaving. The enterence to Meiji Jingu, the path beyond transports you from the hussle of the modern city and into the past.

Sake barrels are donated from around Japan to the shrine for use in ceremonies. They are present along the path to the shrine.

Here people write down their prayers and wishes and then hang them along this wall.

A lucky chance that we were able to witness a wedding while visiting the shrine. This is the second time I was able to experience this. The outfit the groom is wearing is similar to the one I wore.

Next we were off to a trendy shopping street near Harajuku station. We were on the lookout for an Owl backpack which sadly we did not find.

Only in Japan I think where you can hang out with a Hedgehog while having your coffee.

Unfortunatly the weather turned to rain and we were tired from the previous days, so we headed back to the hotel for some rest. Later that night we did some shopping and meet up with friends.

Please had some issues transferring pictures which is the reason for the delay in the posts.
