Day 9 In Japan
Due to the holidays, I am behind on my posts, but lets pick up where we left off. Day 9 in Japan started out with travel. We left our hotel in Shinjuku and made our way out to Sea Life Park.
The weather was brisk as we made our way inside. Nearby we saw Kasai-Rinkai Park, and the giant Ferris Wheel. It was not running at the time and I wouldn't want to be up in the cold air anyways. So we proceeded inside the aquarium.
The aquarium had all kinds of fish and sea life, including sharks. We saw one Sea Turtle, but I was unable to get a good picture. One point of interest is that Tokyo Sea Life Park is a sister aquarium to Monterey Bay Aquarium.
We were entertained by the giant grupper they had. They were so massive and took up the majority of the space in the tank.
We were pleasantly surprised to find the outdoor penguin exhibit. All tyoes of penguins were present.
After the aquarium, we headed to our next destination, along the way we stopped for lunch. If you are a fan of Ramen, might I suggest grabbing a bite at Ippudo the next time you are in Japan.
We boarded the monorail. All aboard!, next stop Tokyo Disney Sea.
We meetup with with our two new friends Duffy and Stella Lou and then checked into our hotel.
We stayed at the Miracosta hotel inside of the park. The room was detailed with many Disney pieces of art and themed amendies.
Tomorrow we're waking up bright and early and headed into the park for a full day of fun!
